Alpha Foundation Sponsors Tech Course for Seniors to Promote e-Learning and Tech Empowerment

The Alpha Foundation also provides services to seniors. A digital mobility application course was set up at the East District Senior Citizens Learning Center of Hsinchu City to teach seniors about the Internet and how to use the convenience afforded by the Internet to improve their quality of life. Alpha’s networking expertise is used to support seniors and help them overcome their fear of online technology so they can enjoy a richer, more exciting through the real-time nature and accessibility offered by the Internet.

The course is based on the concept of “promote e-learning and tech empowerment.” A beginner’s guide to buying mobile phones gives seniors a conceptual understanding of technological developments in recent years. Useful lifestyle apps are also introduced to leverage the convenience of technology to help seniors enjoy a better life.
