In the mountain towns during winter, temperatures often drop lower than in the cities. Yet the hopes carried in children’s hearts remain just as warm and sincere. This year, the Company once again launched the “Christmas Wish Fulfillment Program for Rural Communities,” inviting colleagues to step into the world of underprivileged children and become caring messengers of the season. Through thoughtfully prepared gifts, we responded to the wishes written by the children themselves, allowing care and hope to quietly take root amid the winter chill.
Some of these wishes were simple—a book, a box of colored pencils, a pair of socks, or a warm jacket. Though modest, each wish reflected a genuine need. When these wishes were lovingly fulfilled, the children received more than gifts; they felt remembered, cared for, and valued.
This year, four rural elementary schools—Meihua, Xinle, Shilei, and Xiuluan—took part in the program. With the enthusiastic participation of our employees, all 227 wishes were successfully adopted and fulfilled. Now in its second consecutive year, the Christmas Wish Program continues to grow, carrying forward a spirit of compassion that deepens with every act of participation. In mid-December, vehicles filled with gifts and blessings made their way along winding mountain roads. What arrived at the schools were not only carefully wrapped presents, but also heartfelt care that crossed distances and reminded children that their wishes truly mattered.
Throughout the preparation process, colleagues carefully read each wish card, seeking to understand the children’s circumstances and needs. Some prepared warm clothing to help children face the winter cold; others selected school supplies to support their learning journey; still others chose practical items to bring comfort and reassurance to daily life. For many participants, this was more than a donation activity—it was a meaningful reminder that what may seem like a small gift can become a source of warmth for an entire season, or even the strength to keep moving forward.
Some colleagues also involved their families, encouraging children to prepare gifts and write cards together. Through these actions, compassion was passed on across generations, transforming kindness into tangible action. The warmth created through this process not only reached rural communities but also left a lasting impression on everyone who took part.
Delivering love to rural communities has never been the effort of one individual—it is a collective choice to walk together. We sincerely thank every colleague who participated in the Wish Fulfillment Program. Because of your kindness, children felt warmth and care this winter. May this gentle spirit take root in their hearts during the holiday season and continue to grow into a light that shines far into the future.
