Alpha Networks Inc. (TWSE: 3380), the leading supplier of network communication solutions, will be taking part in the OCP Global Summit 2025 today (10/13). The Company will be focusing on innovations in AI infrastructure as well as improving the performance and sustainable development of data centers under the theme of “Leading the Future of AI.” The spotlight will be on “liquid-cooled high-performance connectivity solutions for empowering the future of AI” designed for AI/cloud data center and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. The product will not only satisfy the high-speed connectivity requirements of generative AI, large-scale multimedia streaming, and the Internet-of-Things, but it will also achieve a balance between energy efficiency and environmental sustainability through the use of a highly effective liquid-cooling system that demonstrates the pioneering capabilities of Alpha Networks in the AI infrastructure field.
The vibrant development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) is driving the continued growth in demand for network bandwidth and computing performance from data centers around the world. In response to this trend, Alpha Networks has introduced a new generation of 1.6T liquid-cooled switches with software functions and hardware architecture that can be customized to customer requirements. The combination of high port density, high bandwidth, and cost-effectiveness made this an ideal solution for AI data center and HPC applications.
Product features:
Rapid advances in generative AI and cloud applications are driving data center demand for higher bandwidths, lower latencies, and high energy efficiency. Legacy air-cooled systems are, however, reaching the limits of their performance as high-end chips end the kilowatt range. The need for larger cooling fins and high-flow fans not only lead to higher costs and larger footprints but also more noise and energy consumption that impose design constraints on high-density data centers.
The Alpha Networks 1.6T switch overcomes the cooling and energy-efficiency constraints by adopting an innovative 100% liquid-cooled architecture. A cooling performance of up to 1.8 KW in each liquid cooling plate offers a clear advantage over air-cooled designs in terms of space and energy usage. In addition to support for the ORv3 800V architecture, the product also incorporates liquid circuit monitoring and automatic leak detection to immediately shut down and protect the system if there are any problems. For technicians, this gives them the time they need to conduct inspections and make repairs, boosting the overall security and reliability of DevOps.
To meet the even more demanding cooling challenges of tomorrow, Alpha Networks’ 1.6T liquid-cooled switch will not only help customers deploy infrastructure with even higher performance but also effectively reduce their energy consumption and noise. As such, the new switch offers the most reliable solution for the deployment of AI data centers and next-generation networks.
The OCP Global Summit 2025 will be held at the San Jose Convention Center in California, USA, from October 13 to October 16. Alpha Networks invites our global partners to visit our booth at Exhibit Hall A58.
