Alpha Networks Receives TCSA Awards for Top 100 Sustainable Corporates, SBTi Carbon Reduction Verification, and Equal Rights Demonstrating Sustainability through Three Top Accolades

Alpha Networks Inc. (TWSE: 3380), the leading supplier of network communication solutions, and its subsidiaries have been long-time advocates of sustainable development and ESG strategies. The company’s efforts have now been recognized with several awards at the 18th Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA). Alpha Networks received two awards, the “Top 100 Taiwanese Sustainable Corporates Award” and “Corporate Sustainability Reports - Silver Award in the First Category (Electronics and Information Technology Manufacturing Industry).” Hitron (TWSE: 2419), a subsidiary of Alpha Networks, was also presented with the “Sustainability Comprehensive Performance Award” and “Corporate Sustainability Reports - Silver Award in the First Category (Electronics and Information Technology Manufacturing Industry).”

The 18th TCSA was held in 2025 by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) with the award presentation ceremony hosted on November 26 with great fanfare. This year, there were 743 companies and organizations in the running, bringing the total number of participants to 1,075. The total revenue of participating units was more than NT$38.4 Trillion, making TCSA the largest and most authoritative sustainability rating system in Taiwan. TCSA has also been referred to as the “Sustainability Oscars for Taiwanese Businesses.”

Passing SBTi Review on 1.5°C Short-Term Carbon Reduction Targets Represents Another Net Zero Milestone

Alpha Networks stated that climate change is a global challenge that all businesses must take responsibility for. Over the years, the Company has continued to promote energy conservation, carbon reduction, water conservation, and waste reduction initiatives. A long-term carbon reduction roadmap was also defined with 30% carbon reduction in the supply chain by 2030, meeting the RE100 renewable energy usage target by 2040 and achieving Net Zero by 2050. To support the development of a green supply chain, Alpha Networks also adheres to international standards under the GHG Protocol to gradually conduct GHG inventories and carbon management counseling at suppliers. The company has collaborated closely with partners to embrace low-carbon transformation.

Another key milestone was also reached by Alpha Networks on the pathway to Net Zero. On November 27, 2025, the Company passed the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) review on its short-term 1.5°C carbon reduction targets, the most rigorous type of review available. The targets were also announced on the SBTi website on December 4. The achievement is a symbol of how Alpha Networks is responding to the international push to keep temperature increases under 1.5°C in accordance with the “Paris Agreement.” The Net Zero vision has now been converted into verifiable action. SBTI certification meant that the carbon reduction pathway proposed by Alpha Networks has received the seal of approval from a leading global institution. In addition to strengthening the trust of investors and international brand-name customers, it also reflected Alpha Networks’ leadership status in the global net zero supply chain.

The SBTi targets of Alpha Networks encompass all operations and the supply chain. 2024 was set as the base year to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% as well as Scope 3 emissions by 25% before 2030. Science-based carbon reduction commitments will be expanded by Alpha Networks to encompass the supply chain, and demonstrate its keen sense of duty in supporting the joint transformation of both upstream and downstream partners. SBTi has become an important standard used by global enterprises and financial institutions for the examination of carbon reduction ambitions. Passing the review on 1.5°C targets means that the Company will adopt even more substantive phase-based targets to accelerate net zero formation among industry partners.

Equality Award for Diversity and Inclusiveness

Alpha Networks promotes talent development and a friendly workplace. In 2025, the Company received the “Award of Excellence for Promotion of Workplace Equality” presented by the Science Park Administration. The award recognized the implementation of measures such as human rights and gender equality training, working from home, health seminars, and team-building events.

At the governance level, AI and digital governance were introduced by Alpha Networks to improve operating efficiency. Continuous improvement process (CIP) automation is also being promoted to serve as the core driving force behind innovative and inclusive development.

Alpha Networks Continues to Set New Milestones through “Sustainable Innovation, Inclusive Growth”

Alpha Networks noted that winning the TCSA, SBTi, and Equal Rights awards recognized the team effort of all its employees. In the future, Alpha Networks will continue to embrace the core philosophy of “Sustainable Innovation, Inclusive Growth.” ESG implementation efforts will be stepped up to exert a positive influence on society. Alpha Networks will also partner with the industry chain and society to build a low-carbon, inclusive, and sustainable future together.
