Alpha Networks' ADSL2+ Modem (ASL-2300 series) is an external modem designed for high-speed Internet access for a home or office LAN. It delivers ADSL2+ broadband connection to Windows-based PCs over an existing telephone line and 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet for connection to network devices. The modem auto-senses the connection type and auto-negotiates the best modulation scheme, either G.dmt or G.lite using the G.hs (handshake) protocol. Security functions include filtering, SPI (detection of known attacks) and DoS (Denial of Service).
